shaping the future
Science
Studying science is an experiential journey at Garodia Education. Our teachers foster a deep sense of curiosity and excitement about the subject in children early on.
Art
At Garodia Education, our pedagogy links Art and Learning, so that children understand academic concepts through the medium of line and colour.
Entrepreneurship
Preparing our students for the excitement of entrepreneurial efforts, we create a safe space for them to venture into the world of risk-taking and business.
Celebrations delight children and help them form ties with the world they live in. We observe Republic Day, Independence Day, Christmas, Diwali, Eid, Holi and Janmashtami.
Music
Music brings together the precision of Maths and Science, with all the wonder and delight of Art. Children will practice choral singing throughout the year from early on, and perform on special school events
Literary week
'Reading for Joy' is encouraged throughout the school. We celebrate an annual Literary Week, where reading and book-related activities take centre stage.
MUN
The Model United Nations are great forums for young people to meet, debate global issues and learn team skills. We plan to organize an inter school MUN in 2017.
Dance
Ballet is taught to the students of the Primary Years to help with balance, finer movement, style and focus. The classes are held once a week.
German Spelling Bee
Every year, Garodia Education organizes a German Spelling Bee for all the PASCH Schools of Mumbai, and GE's students travel to Germany to attend PASCH workshops as well.
Martial Arts
Students will train for martial arts like Taekwondo once a week from the age of four. Apart from the regular qualifying exams, they'll attend camps to extend their learning.
International week
We celebrate this week to foster global understanding. We examine music, dances, books, food & national costumes. In Secondary Years the students will examine countries' Culture, Economics, & Scientific growth
Germination
We believe in introducing our students to the wonders of the plant world early in life. Our Early Years students sow seeds in a paper cup and watch patiently as the young seedlings emerge.
Family days
Garodia Education believes in celebrating every member of the family. If it’s Mother’s Day that we mark one year, in the next, it could be Father’s Day, Parents’ Day, or Grandparents’ Day.
A Word of Thanks
We believe that expressing gratitude is a step towards being a better human. Children at GE will participate in a ‘Thank You Notes’ activity session where they write notes to those who they don’t normally thank.
Recycled art
Once a year, our Early Years and Primary Years students will make art out of office waste like used stationery. To make it interesting, we will keep it theme-based and competitive!
Random acts of kindness
Our team of non-teaching helpers assist our teachers, and take care of our children. They are an unseen yet helpful presence. We will hold fun-filled events for them, so that they feel valued.
Pottery
Working with clay and their hands, GE’s Early Years and Primary students are shown how to mould pots. Secondary and High School sections have more detailed pottery workshops.
Swimming
Students of the Primary Years and the Secondary Years are trained to swim. They use the pool once a week and will be chaperoned by an adult.
Handball
Beginning in Grade 5, students train once a week for Handball. In 2015, one of GE's International branches' Handball Team went to Sweden to compete internationally.
Education Fairs
We organize Fairs in Fall (August) and Spring (February) so that students and parents can learn about Universities abroad. On the anvil are career fairs, and a mini fair, with a focus on India and Australia.
Non-Fire cooking
Once a month, our Early Years students will experiment with food using fire-free cooking. One of the desserts they will be making is everyone’s favourite - Cheesecake!
Inter-school Language Fest
Organized at the International School Aamby (ISA), ‘Romance’ celebrates the plurality of languages in the world. GE's students have won prizes in different competitions at the Fest.
Monsoon trek
Every year, GE's preschool to Grade 2 students are taken on a rain walk to local parks near the school. Our little learners count mushrooms, watch creepy-crawlies, and understand the importance of rain.
Leadership. When I look back, my one greatest memory and achievement in Garodia Education seems to revolve around my captaincy. It helped me identify strengths and develop traits that I would
not have learnt elsewhere. Thinking about it today, I realize that the experience has shaped me into who I am today: a student in a university that I wouldn't have even thought
I would get into, studying a subject that I would not have loved if not for my teachers in GE. Having graduated in May 2015, I am studying engineering at the Penn State University,
which has been an honor.
Orie Moses
Class of 2011
I joined my father when he received a job offer in India and I was enrolled into Garodia Education, where I acquired things that I'm grateful for even today. Wonderful friends, great memories,
a good education, and good care from the staff. As for the food, as a student from abroad, the taste of Indian food at school was delicious. Football tournaments, chemistry lab
work, the Cambridge University students’ visit – I would go back and relive all of those moments and experiences at GE in the blink of an eye. I am currently serving my last
year in the army here in Israel. I have become a commander and have cherished every thing GE has given me. Partly, GE has made me what I am today.
Sharon Das
Class of 2015
Film making has always been my passion and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to learn and improve my craft as Director at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. Being
an IBDP student at Garodia Education helped me grow as a person and has made me capable enough to face the challenges and milestones coming my way. I have acquired and established communication
skills, becoming a much more confident individual. GE gave me the chance to explore myself at the Winchester International Symposium held in Prague. All my teachers were great
and highly supportive of my work. I am very grateful to GE for making me the person I am today and for always being there whenever I needed any help from school.
